Privacy policy

FedOAR is operated by OARBuilt. This policy explains what FedOAR collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect little.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, and optionally your name and firm name.
  • Profile data: NAICS codes, service states, self-declared certifications, and keywords used for matching. The pilot does not score capability statements.
  • Usage data: which digests were opened and which briefs were viewed, so we can improve matching and detect delivery problems. We use Vercel Web Analytics.
  • Billing data: handled by Polar, our merchant of record. We never see or store card numbers.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your data.
  • We do not use SAM.gov entity registration data to market to anyone.
  • We do not send marketing email to addresses that have not opted in. Business outreach we do send is to professional addresses from licensed business databases, always with a working unsubscribe, and honored immediately.

Email

Digest emails include an unsubscribe link and support one-click unsubscribe in compatible email clients. Contact support for other email preferences. Transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts) are sent only when you ask for them.

Processors

Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (email delivery), Polar (payments), and, for AI-assisted brief text, Anthropic, OpenAI or Google — who receive only the public notice text, never your account or profile data.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and profile data while your account is active and for 12 months after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Email support@fedoar.com from your account address and we will delete your account and profiles within 7 days and confirm.

Cookies

We set a session cookie when you sign in and a small hint cookie that only tells our pages whether to show “Dashboard” or “Sign in”. Analytics cookies are first-party and do not track you across other sites.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

We will email account holders about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
